Brianne is focused on implementing real solutions through legislation and oversight, holding criminals accountable, and preserving and building the Ward 1 community we know and love.
A recall is not a solution.
This recall is a distraction, will cost DC tens of thousands of dollars and would leave Ward 1 without an elected representative on the DC Council. It also offers no actual solution to the safety challenges we face.
Over the coming months, the recall organizers will need to collect signatures from Ward 1 residents to get this on the ballot.

Brianne Nadeau has served as Ward 1 Councilmember since 2015. The people of Ward 1 overwhelmingly supported her for re-election in 2022, when she won nearly 80% of the vote.
She has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to community safety, affordable housing, supporting our most vulnerable residents, and improving government services.
